Commitment:
Because lacrosse is
a team sport, we expect 100% commitment to the team for the
tournament season. If you son or daughter is unable to make a
tournament for any reason, you will forfeit your tournament
registration fee for that tournament and if you miss two tournaments
you may forfeit your spot on the team without the ability to receive
a refund.
If you know you are
going to miss a number of tournaments you may want to be considered
for an alternate position on the team rather than take up a roster
spot and not fulfilling your commitment to the team. FAILURE TO
REPORT ANY PLANNED TOURNAMENT ABSENCE OR EXCESSIVE ABSENCES FROM
PRACTICE MAY RESULT IN YOUR CHILD FORFEITING THEIR SPOT ON A TEAM.
Commitments to Other Select Teams:
It is our
expectation that members of Team Hills have Team Hills as their
primary lacrosse commitment.
Sportsmanship:
It is our
expectation that all players and parents will abide by the Positive
Coaching Alliance Code of Conduct, which has been adopted as the
official guideline for Hills Youth Lacrosse. Any conduct detrimental
to the program will be subject to review.
Fees:
Due to insurance
requirements, each player attending the tryout will be required to
furnish proof of membership in US Lacrosse. If the player is not a
member of US Lacrosse, the membership fee is $35.00 for U15 and U17
players and $20.00 for U11 and U13 players. This fee must be paid
directly to US Lacrosse and you must visit their website
www.uslacrosse.org to register your child prior to the tryout.
If you were a member of Team Hills or the PAL Youth program last
year you do not need to apply as we have your number.
